Retracting Awning with Poles

An Outrigger Retracting Awning with Poles is a lightweight wall mounted structure, where the fabric runs out along stainless steel cables to poles, which is either motorised or manually operated via a winch or crank. An Outrigger retracting awning is exceptionally robust and can be left out in high winds and heavy rain. A retracting awning is typically a rectangular shape and is manufactured from Ferrari 502 pvc, Dicklon32 acrylic canvas, Ferrari Soltis92 or Outlook woven pvc coated mesh.

BASIX recognises adjustable shading devices as they balance heating and cooling loads, reducing the need for air conditioning in summer and heating in winter.
