Cantilevered Batten Awnings

An Outrigger Cantilevered Batten Awning can be designed as a lightweight freestanding structure with supporting poles on one side only or a lightweight wall mounted structure with rigid aluminium arms. Both can be designed to be demountable, i.e in a way that makes it possible to remove the awning. The poles are individually fabricated with rigid arms. The poles and arms are typically manufactured from either galvanised steel or aluminium. The awnings can have curved, pitched or straight battens which stiffen the fabric, eliminate flapping and ensure the awning does not hold water. A cantilevered batten awning is typically a rectangular shape, however it can be manufactured to almost any shape, from either 502 pvc fabric, Ferrari Soltis92 or Outlook woven pvc coated mesh.
